About Epic Monsoon Treks: Peaks & Waterfalls

Our monsoon treks are not luxury getaways. You will be swapping your office chair for muddy trails and sleeping in shared dorms or tents. We handle the forest permits, the rickety jeep rides, and the local homestay bookings, but you need to bring a pair of good grip shoes and a solid rain poncho. This is a communal experience. You share the bus, you share the chai, and you help each other navigate the slippery rocks. If you are looking for a hotel stay, this is not it. If you want to get into the wild, this is where you start.

Why We Do This

We are a bunch of folks who found joy in the Western Ghats and never looked back. We believe the best way to spend a weekend isn't in a cinema or a cafe, but standing on a cliff edge with monsoon clouds rolling in. We organize these treks for people who are tired of the city grind and want to 'engulf every inch of nature' without spending weeks planning it.

What To Expect

  • The Terrain: Expect mud, mist, leeches, and steep climbs. These are genuine mountain treks in the Western Ghats. Your shoes will get dirty. Your clothes will get wet. You will have a great time.
  • The Inclusions: We take the headache out of the planning. We cover round-trip transport from Bangalore, forest entry fees, guided treks with local experts, dorm-style accommodation, and authentic local meals. You just pack your backpack and reach the pickup point.
  • The Vibe: It is not a silent retreat. It is a gang of strangers becoming friends over chai breaks and bonfire stories. We keep it real. If you are a solo traveler or a group of friends wanting to escape, you fit right in.

Popular Monsoon Trails

  • Bandaje Falls: A 200-ft waterfall hidden in the dense cliffs. The climb is tough but the view from the top is worth every drop of sweat.
  • Netravathi Peak: Think walking on the edge of the world with a sea of clouds on one side and steep drops on the other.
  • Kodachadri: A perfect mix of forest trails, open meadows, and the stunning Hidlumane waterfalls. It is a classic for a reason.

We are a bunch of city escapists who decided to trade the concrete jungle for the real Western Ghats. We don't just guide you; we travel with you, share the same bus, and end up around the same campfire. If you want a weekend where your biggest worry is mud on your shoes and you're surrounded by people who are just as excited to see the next waterfall as you are, you’re with the right gang.
