About this collection

Since this trail passes through dense forests and streams, you will definitely encounter leeches along the way during the monsoon. We strongly recommend wearing full-sleeve clothing and reliable trekking shoes with a good grip. It is not just about keeping your clothes dry, it helps you navigate the muddy slopes and slippery sections with confidence.

Trekking the Netravati Trail

Netravati Peak is a 14 km moderate trek that truly earns its name as the 'Cloud Factory.' You’ll be walking through vibrant green meadows and Shola forests that feel like they belong in a dream. Because this route falls under the Kudremukh National Park zone, we handle the mandatory online forest permits and local guide coordination, which are strictly required to enter the trail.

What to Expect

We run this as a weekend trip, leaving Bengaluru on Friday night. The journey covers an overnight drive, and we use local 4x4 jeeps to get you to the base—a necessity for the terrain. Once you’re on the trail, it’s a mix of forest paths, refreshing stream crossings, and those iconic, spine-like ridges that vanish into the mist.

Logistics & BT Care

  • Friday Night Departure: Pickups at Indiranagar, Marathahalli, HSR, and Silk Board ensure you don't waste your weekend in traffic.
  • Stay: We organize dormitory-style stays or tents, keeping the vibe simple and communal.
  • Safety: We keep a close watch on forest department updates and weather conditions. If the trails are deemed unsafe, we communicate early so you can plan your time better.

This isn't just about reaching the peak. It is about the laughter on the bus, the post-trek dip in the stream, and the community you build with fellow trekkers. Banni, let’s go explore the Ghats together.
