About Chasing Waterfalls
If you join us for a waterfall trek, bring a towel and an extra pair of clothes. When we say we are visiting a waterfall, we mean we are going to get wet, swim in the pools, and hang out at the base—not just stare at it from behind a railing.
Most people go to waterfalls to snap a photo and leave. That is not how we do things at Adventure Buddha. Our trips to places like Chikmagalur, Coorg, and Wayanad are built around the idea that you should actually experience the landscape.
When we plan a trek to a cascade like Jhari Falls or Kanthanpara, the hike is just the warm-up. The highlight is the time spent at the base, cooling off in the natural pools and connecting with the rest of the group. Since we handle the logistics—transport from Bangalore, forest permits, and homestay accommodation—you can just focus on the trail and the company.
We keep our group sizes intimate enough that you are not just another face in the crowd. By the time we are done with the afternoon swim and the evening campfire, most travelers find they have already made a few new friends. Whether you are a solo traveler or coming with a friend, the vibe is all about keeping it real, enjoying the fresh air of Namma Karnataka, and leaving the city routine behind for a couple of days.
Adventure Buddha
We started Adventure Buddha because we were tired of boring weekends and wanted to trade screen time for forest trails. We are just a bunch of folks from Bangalore who believe the best stories happen when you are trekking through a wet forest with a group of people who started as strangers but end as family.
