About this collection
You get the best of both worlds on this trip. We start with the 12 km round-trip hike up Tadiandamol to catch those views from the highest point in Coorg, then switch gears for river rafting and a quiet visit to the Golden Temple. It is the right mix of tiring yourself out on the trail and actually getting a break on the weekend.
The Tadiandamol trek takes you through the heart of the Western Ghats. You will walk through Shola forests and vast grasslands, reaching the highest point in Coorg at 1,748 meters. While the ascent is steady, the view from the top is worth the effort, especially when the mist clears.
After the climb, we keep the energy going with river rafting—a great way to cool off. We also head to the Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, where the Golden Temple offers a completely different kind of peace. It is not just about the distance covered; it is about changing your scenery from the concrete of Bengaluru to the calm of the hills.
