Community and Advocacy Programs for New Parents
We are here to change the conversation around birth in Bangalore. Join our community meets, training programs, and advocacy events to find the support and evidence-based information you deserve during pregnancy and postpartum.
On World Health Day, we echo the theme of "Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures." Our work is dedicated to this vision, focusing on maternal and newborn health through our various programs for mental health, breastfeeding, and community training.
As a non-profit organization, we celebrate the work of NGOs everywhere on World NGO Day. Our mission is to promote respectful care during pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, ensuring every mother and baby gets the support they deserve.
Highlights from our Annual General Meeting, where our passionate community of parents and birth professionals came together. These events are a testament to our shared commitment to improving birth experiences for everyone.
About Our Community & Advocacy
Our community is built on the belief that birth and early parenthood should not be isolating. Whether you are attending an Annual General Meeting, joining a local meetup, or participating in our training camps, you will find a space where your voice is heard in your preferred language. We focus on bridging the gap between clinical care and human experience, ensuring you have the evidence-based knowledge to make decisions that feel right for your family.
At Bangalore Birth Network, we believe your birth experience is your own. We advocate for respectful, evidence-based care in hospitals across Bangalore because we know how stressful it can be to navigate maternity protocols alone. Our work goes beyond simple counseling; we run training programs for ASHA workers and nurses, host Annual General Meetings where parents meet birth professionals, and create spaces for breastfeeding support.
Whether you are struggling with birth trauma, needing help with a birth plan, or simply looking for a group of parents who understand the ups and downs of postpartum life, you belong here. Our counselors provide support in English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam, ensuring language is never a barrier to your care.
You can visit our Shanti Nagar center for face-to-face sessions or join our online community. We are here to listen, empower, and help you find the information you need to make the best decisions for your family. No judgment, just support.
