You don't get what you wish for; you get what you work for. Let’s sharpen your mechanics, build touch around the rim, and learn to score when the pressure is on.

Your progress is a reflection of your effort. This drill combines a drive to the basket with a strong finish, all at game speed.

The only way to get better is to put in the work when no one is watching. A late night session working on finishing at the rim.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. An adult player working on his shooting form and follow through.

We track everything. Here a player is working on her free throws, and we're logging the results to measure progress. 40 out of 50 is a great start.

Control the rock, control the game. This drill works on weak hand finishing, a crucial skill for any serious player.

When in doubt, shoot it out. Practicing finishing through contact using a pad to simulate a defender.

When you've practiced for two hours, it's time to challenge your limits. This is shooting under fatigue, a true test of mental and physical strength.

His bag is deeper than the defender's hope. A player shows off a creative finish after a strong drive.

Putting in the work at the rim. This is a variation of the Mikan drill, a classic for improving your touch and finishing with both hands.

Day one of the journey, let's make it count. A new player starting with the fundamentals of shooting form.

About Score at Will: Shooting & Finishing Drills

Many players have a solid jump shot but freeze when they have to finish through contact or under physical fatigue. In my sessions, we stop relying on open gym practice and start simulating actual game pressure. Whether we are using the Dr. Dish machine for high-repetition shooting or using foam pads to force tough finishes at the rim, we build the muscle memory and mental toughness needed to score points when it matters most.

Points win games. You can have the best handles in the league, but if you cannot put the ball in the hoop, your impact is limited. My approach to shooting and finishing is about precision, repetition, and real-world application.

Mechanics and Touch

We start by breaking down your shooting form. If your elbow is flying out or your release is inconsistent, we fix it. We use the Mikan drill—a classic but vital exercise—to develop soft touch and ambidexterity around the basket. You need to be able to finish with your left as confidently as your right.

Game-Simulated Pressure

Shooting in an empty gym is easy. Shooting with a defender in your face, while your legs are tired in the fourth quarter, is a different story. I incorporate drills that simulate these specific situations. We practice shooting off the catch, off the dribble, and after high-intensity movement, so your game translates directly to the court.

The Mental Component

Scoring is often 50 percent confidence. I teach my students how to read the defender and make the right decision at the rim. Should you go for the layup, the floater, or the pass? We analyze your game tape to identify why you might be missing or making the wrong choice.

Who We Train

Whether you are an absolute beginner learning the fundamentals of a jump shot or a competitive athlete refining your offensive arsenal, we customize the drills to your level. We train at the Tau DeviLal Sports Complex, Khan Market, and travel to courts across Delhi NCR to keep the grind accessible.
