Back in the grind. Getting sharper, stronger, and ready for the season with dynamic stretches and conditioning drills.
Today's society wants to skip the process. I hate that. We focus on the fundamentals, like proper lunge form for leg strength.
The process includes recovery. Here I am helping a player with a quad stretch to improve flexibility and prevent injury.
When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind. Post workout stretching is key.
Working on flexibility and core strength after a tough workout. A healthy body is a strong body.

About Next Level Athlete: Agility, Defense & Conditioning
Great defense isn't just about effort, it is about geometry and explosive reaction speed. When we work on your lateral quickness or stability using resistance bands, we are not just tiring you out. We are training your muscles to hold that defensive stance longer without sacrificing your ability to close out on a shooter.
Why Conditioning Changes the Game
A basketball player’s performance dips the moment fatigue sets in. My program is not about running until you drop; it is about smart, targeted conditioning. We focus on the specific motor skills that translate directly to the court.
My Training Approach
- Explosive Power: Using plyometrics to improve your vertical leap and first-step quickness.
- Defensive Footwork: Drilling the 'cat and mouse' movements so you can stay in front of your attacker, regardless of their skill level.
- Core Stability: Using equipment like stability balls and resistance bands to ensure your balance remains tight, even when you are absorbing contact.
- Recovery Science: We do not just train. We stretch and recover properly because a healthy, flexible body is a resilient body.
Where We Train
Whether you are at the Tau DeviLal Sports Complex in Gurugram, the courts in Khan Market, or need me to travel to a private facility across Delhi NCR, the standard remains the same. I work with students of all levels, from kids just starting to play to competitive athletes.
This is the process. It requires patience and consistency. If you are ready to stop skipping the hard work and actually build the body of a competitive athlete, let us get to work.
