Good shooting is not magic, it is mechanics and repetition. From form shooting to game-speed jumpers, we break down the technique so you can hit your shots when it counts.

I always say I am not a shooter, but I can hit 3s. It is all about practice and confidence. I work with every player to find their rhythm.

Even the coach has to work on his game. Here I am practicing my mid-range shots. I believe in leading by example and continuous improvement.

Good weather and shooting drills. There is no better combination. We are always working to grow the game together, one shot at a time.

An indoor shooting session. No matter the weather, we find a way to get our practice in. Repetition is the key to becoming a great shooter.

Missing a shot is not my cup of tea. I teach my players to have a shooter's mentality. Believe every shot is going in.

The kids told me I can't shoot the ball, so I had to show them. A little fun and challenge keeps the training sessions exciting.

A one on one shooting drill. Practicing with a defender helps simulate real game pressure.

More shooting practice on the court. The game never stops, and neither does our work on the fundamentals.

About Shooting Drills

I don't teach my players to just throw the ball—we work on form from the feet to the fingertips. Whether you are struggling with airballs or just want to quicken your release, we start with close-range form shooting. You build confidence by making simple shots first, and only then do we move out to mid-range and 3-pointers.

Building a Shooter's Mentality

Many players think shooting is just about strength. It is not. It is about rhythm, footwork, and a calm mind. In our drills, I make sure players understand the 'why' behind every move. We use cones and defenders to simulate game pressure because hitting a shot while alone in a park is very different from hitting one with a hand in your face.

Why We Drill

  • Form First: If your base is weak, your shot will be inconsistent. We fix your stance before we ever worry about your range.
  • Repetition with Purpose: You cannot improve if you are just 'shooting around.' Every session at KBBA has a goal, whether it is increasing your arc or fixing your release point.
  • Game Speed: We do not walk through drills. You practice at the speed you intend to play in a tournament.

The Process

We focus on the complete shot cycle. We start with the feet—your balance comes from the ground up. Then we check the elbow placement and the follow-through. Most of my students see a massive difference in their percentage within just a few weeks of consistent work. It is not luck, it is a habit. Whether you are a beginner looking to understand the game or a senior player wanting to fix a hitch in your jump shot, the work remains the same. Aage aaiye, let us get on the court and start the grind.

I am Ankit, and I run KBBA. I treat every player as an individual project because no two players shoot exactly the same way. We get on the court, put in the work, and turn practice into progress. Rab rakha.
