About Master Your Handles: Dribbling & Ball Control
Your handle isn't just about flashy crossovers. It's about protecting the rock under heavy defensive pressure. In my sessions, we focus on ambidexterity, forcing you to use your weak hand until it is just as reliable as your dominant one. If you can't protect the ball when a defender is breathing down your neck, the fancy moves won't matter. We fix that here.
A tight handle is the difference between a role player and a playmaker. Whether you are aiming for your school team or looking to sharpen your game for serious competition, the foundation is always the same: ball control.
I break down training into three core pillars:
- Ambidexterity: I use two-ball drills to ensure your weak hand is not a liability. If you can only go right, a defender will shut you down in seconds. We change that.
- Reaction Time: I integrate tennis ball drills to force your eyes up. You shouldn't be looking at the floor; you should be scanning the court to see who is open.
- Game Pressure: We simulate defensive intensity. I apply pressure during dribbling drills so that when you face a real defender, the movement feels automatic.
We train across Delhi NCR, including sessions at the Tau DeviLal Sports Complex and Khan Market. Whether we are using resistance bands for strength or simply drilling form until it is perfect, there are no shortcuts. It is about repetitions, correcting the mechanics, and building the muscle memory required to dominate.
