About The Parent's Embrace: Motherhood & Fatherhood
I don't look for stiff, posed perfection where everyone stares at the lens. Instead, I wait for the moments you might ignore—the way your child holds your finger, or that quiet, exhausted look of love when you're just sitting together. My goal is to capture the relationship itself, not just the people in it.
Whether we are in my Byculla studio or catching the golden hour outdoors in Mumbai, the process is the same: I let you be you. If your toddler wants to run, we run. If your baby needs a cuddle, we stop and cuddle. These sessions aren't about costumes or elaborate props; they are about documenting the way your life feels right now. Drawing on my background in VFX, I edit images with a focus on skin tones and light that feel soft and organic, never over-processed. Parents often ask me if they should dress up in formal wear, and my advice is always the same: wear something that makes you comfortable enough to sit on the floor and play. You are the heartbeat of these photos, so be in them, not just behind the camera.
