About Just for Dads: Celebrating Fatherhood
My sessions are not about forced smiles or stiff posing. We spend the time in my Andheri East studio playing games, sharing stories, or just hanging out, so you feel relaxed enough to be yourself. This is why the resulting images capture genuine laughter and quiet affection, rather than looking like a generic photo shoot.
Fatherhood is often filled with blink-and-you-miss-it moments that rarely get documented because, let's face it, dad is usually the one holding the phone. These father and child photography sessions are specifically designed to change that.
Why I Focus on Dad & Child Portraits
In my studio, we ditch the formal instructions. If your child wants to climb on your back, we capture it. If you want to read a book or just share a quiet hug, we let that happen naturally. The goal is to document your unique parenting style, whether you are the silly, goofy dad or the gentle, protective one.
Creating Your Session
Located in Andheri East, my studio offers a few distinct aesthetics for these sessions:
- Boho & Earthy: Using pampas grass and natural textures, this creates a warm, timeless look.
- Minimalist: Clean backdrops that keep the focus entirely on the connection between you and your child.
If you prefer the outdoors, we can head to a Mumbai garden or a quiet beach during the golden hour. The natural light complements the candid nature of these photos perfectly.
Practical Details
- Preparation: Wear something comfortable that makes you feel like you. We can coordinate outfits to match the studio vibe, but authenticity matters more than perfection.
- Pacing: We allow enough time for breaks, especially if little ones get restless.
- Groupings: While these sessions highlight the father-child bond, we can definitely include mom or siblings for a few frames if you would like a family mix.
