About this collection
Beyond the rituals, it is the collective stillness that defines our gatherings. When thousands of people from different countries meditate together in the ashram, the atmosphere shifts, creating a space where individual worries dissolve into a shared sense of belonging and calm.
Our festivals at the Art of Living International Centre are more than just calendar dates. They are opportunities to hit reset, moving from the clutter of daily life into a space of clarity. Whether you join us for the intense, all-night energy of Maha Shivratri or the nine-day Navratri celebration, you will find that the ashram is designed to facilitate inner silence.
What truly makes these events distinct is the convergence of our global family. When you attend a Homa or join a Satsang, you are sitting alongside seekers from South America, Europe, Africa, and all corners of India. This diversity reinforces a simple truth: the language of devotion is universal.
How to Participate
We offer various ways to connect with our festival spirit, regardless of your location:
- Residential Festival Retreats: Immerse yourself in the full ashram experience. These 3 to 4-day packages include vegetarian meals, tuition for meditation workshops, and priority seating for key ceremonies. You can choose between multi-sharing dormitories or twin-sharing AC rooms.
- Remote Participation: If travel is not possible, we facilitate 'Online Sankalpa'. During our Vedic fire ceremonies, your name and Gotra are chanted by pundits, and you receive access to a live webcast, allowing you to be part of the ritual from your home.
- Group Ceremonies: We also host Samoohik (mass) events for life milestones like Upanayanam, providing all necessary materials and guidance from our senior priests.
