About Featured
In our classrooms, you won’t find children sitting in rows waiting for instruction. Instead, you see a three-year-old carefully pouring water from a glass pitcher, while a peer works with a bead cabinet nearby. This is the heart of Ayelet: a mixed-age, prepared environment where independence is the default. Every child moves at their own pace, following their natural curiosity, with our guides offering gentle support rather than rigid direction.
At Ayelet Montessori, our BTM Layout campus is designed as a second home. When we say we follow the child, we observe their specific interests and developmental needs to guide their daily learning. Our curriculum balances rigorous academics with the vital work of emotional and social development.
Why the Montessori Method Works
In our Pre-Primary program, children engage with classic materials like the Pink Tower and Sound Cylinders. These are scientific tools that help children grasp abstract concepts like dimension, weight, and phonics through touch. By grounding learning in real, physical objects, we help children build a concrete foundation for math, language, and culture before they even move to formal schooling.
Emotional Intelligence & Life Skills
We believe the whole child includes their ability to handle feelings and social interactions. Through Grace and Courtesy lessons, our students learn conflict resolution, empathy, and how to express their emotions. You will see toddlers mastering self-care—from toileting to dressing themselves—which builds a sense of capability and self-worth.
A Community, Not Just a Classroom
Our mixed-age grouping (18 months to 6 years) is intentional. Younger children observe and learn from older peers, while the older children step into leadership roles, reinforcing their own knowledge by helping others. This creates a natural family vibe. I’m Falak, and I started Ayelet because I wanted a space where kids feel truly seen. To me, Montessori is a spiritual practice—it’s about unlearning our need for control and trusting the child to grow in their own time. Seeing a child walk in shy and leave confident and independent is why I do this.
