Every space starts with a conversation. Our design process is rooted in understanding our clients' problems and needs, because we believe architecture is about upgrading their lifestyle, not just the looks of their home.
As co-founders, we have divided responsibilities to play to our strengths, but we do everything as a team. This ensures that while one of us may lead a certain aspect, every project benefits from both our perspectives to deliver the best for our clients.
Design is a dialogue. We believe in constructive crits and keeping each other updated to avoid mundane patterns. A small comment can often take a project to a completely different level, as it did in our Japandi project.
Staying adaptable is key to our process. We make a conscious effort to adapt to new technologies like AI and new market trends to stay relevant and continuously evolve our design thinking.
We started Axiom Design Studio in 2019 after gaining practical experience with multiple architects. Our journey began with a small project designing four toilets, and we've put the same energy into every project since.

About Our Philosophy & The Founders
When we started Axiom in 2019, our very first project was just four toilets in a house. We didn't mind the scale because it taught us that real architecture isn't about fancy renders; it is about solving the small, everyday problems that make a home uncomfortable. Whether we are planning a double-height foyer or retrofitting a 20-year-old structure, our goal remains the same: making your space work for your daily lifestyle.
How We Work
Architecture is a dialogue, not a monologue. We are Aishwarya and Kunal, and we run Axiom Design Studio with a strict rule: function before style.
We divide our responsibilities to ensure every project gets total focus. Aishwarya generally drives the firm’s design vision and portfolio, while Kunal brings technical precision to structural details. We constantly bounce ideas off each other and hold constructive 'crits' to avoid getting stuck in a design rut. If you see something special in our work, it is usually because one of us challenged the other to look at it differently.
Our Philosophy
- Problem-Solving First: We do not just build; we fix. We analyze your site, sun path, and wind direction before drawing a single line. If your current layout makes your living room dark, we do not just redecorate; we re-engineer the space.
- Adaptable Design: We love mixing minimal Japandi aesthetics with the warmth of Indian stone. We are also not afraid of tech. We use AI and updated software to standardize our technical workflows, ensuring that our on-site execution is as precise as our 3D renders.
- Hands-On Approach: We do not just hand over drawings and disappear. From our first site audit to the final material selection in places like Kishangarh, we are involved. We treat every project like our own home.
