Therapeutic Pilates for Pain Relief and Healing
Movement is medicine. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or navigating health conditions like diabetes, our therapeutic Pilates sessions use controlled, gentle movement to help you heal from the inside out.
Anoop Ji came to me with a hunched back and severe spinal pain. Doctors told him he had to live with it. After joining us, his life changed. He can now stand on one leg, his pain is gone, and his posture is transformed. This is the healing power of Pilates.
Ruby’s story is a powerful example of how Pilates can help manage health conditions. In just a few classes, her HbA1c levels for diabetes improved, and she felt a huge difference in her posture and energy. We focus on mindful movements that heal from the inside out.
This new mom found that Pilates helped her immensely with postpartum recovery. In just two months, she saw visible results in her flexibility, mind-body balance, and strength. We provide a supportive space for mothers to rebuild and rediscover their strength.
Another one of our amazing moms sharing her postpartum journey. She saw visible results in her flexibility and strength after just two months. We are so happy to support new mothers in their fitness journey.
I truly believe that Pilates is medicine. It’s not about pills, but about healing through movement. From backaches to burnout, our sessions are designed to ease pain, rebuild posture, and rewire your breath.
Did you know Pilates can do more than just tone your body? It can help reduce inflammation, say goodbye to bloating, improve your posture, and increase your energy levels through better breathing and oxygen flow.
Want a strong, healthy back? These exercises on the Reformer are designed to improve posture and build the core strength needed to support your spine. We focus on small moves that deliver big results for back health.
A perfect stretch is the first step to perfect posture. Here, we are using the Ladder Barrel to help align the spine, strengthen the back, and create that beautiful, confident posture.
A strong body and a calm mind go hand in hand. Pilates isn't just physical; every stretch helps release stress, boost focus, and elevate your mood. It's a holistic approach to wellness.
Posture matters more than you think. Good posture helps with breathing, improves circulation, and reduces pain. At our studio, we focus on strengthening your core and improving flexibility to help you stand tall and feel great.
About Pilates for Pain Relief & Healing
If you are coming to me with an injury or chronic pain, the first thing I do is not a workout—it is an assessment. We look at your medical history, your posture, and exactly where you are holding tension. We do not jump into high-impact moves. Instead, we use specific apparatus like the Cadillac or the Spine Corrector to decompress your joints and gently rebuild strength. It is slow, intentional work, designed to help you function better in your daily life, not just inside the studio.
I often tell my clients that Pilates is not just exercise; it is a healing process. When you walk into my studio in Vasant Kunj, we are not chasing calorie counts. We are chasing alignment.
We utilize specialized equipment like the Ladder Barrel and Cadillac specifically for those who need gravity-assisted movements or spinal articulation. If you have been told by doctors that you have to simply 'live with' your back pain, spinal issues, or stiffness, I ask you to reconsider. I have seen clients who could barely walk 20 meters without severe pain regain their ability to stand, balance, and move freely.
We focus on a range of therapeutic needs:
- Postpartum Recovery: We work with new moms to address diastasis recti and rebuild core strength safely.
- Lifestyle & Metabolic Health: We have seen success with clients managing diabetes—improving blood circulation and reducing inflammation through controlled breathing and mindful stretching.
- Senior Mobility: Our low-impact routines are designed to improve bone density and make daily movements like bending or reaching easier and pain-free.
I do not believe in cookie-cutter routines. Your session is tailored to your body's specific needs, whether you are an athlete with a sports injury or someone dealing with long-term posture issues from sedentary desk work. You will get personal attention, manual corrections, and a program that evolves as you heal. Come as you are, and let us start fixing the imbalances holding you back.
