Pricing Guide
Essentials: Falls, Pico & Zigzag
Preparation Standards
- Fall Stitching: Includes high-quality cotton or rubia fall procured to match the saree base. We use double-stitching at the bottom to ensure the fall never sags or detaches.
- Pallu & Hem: Zigzag (Pico) stitching on the pallu to prevent unraveling and simple hem stitching for the inner tuck-in end.
Technical Care
- Color Precision: Thread and fabric shades are matched with 95-100% accuracy to the saree.
- Fabric Protection: Specific needle gauges (9/11/14) are selected based on fabric type (Crepe vs Silk) to prevent puckering or needle holes.
Standard Hand-Knotted Tassels (Baby Kuchu)
Styles
- Baby Kuchu: Evenly spaced, small knotted tassels creating a minimalist finish.
- Crochet Work: Single or double-line crochet borders woven directly onto the saree edge.
- Bead Work: Integration of small gold, silver, or crystal beads within the knots based on preference.
Material Specifications
- Threads: Use of high-sheen Resham (silk) threads that resist fraying.
- Customization: Dual-tone color options available to match the saree body with the border or blouse.
Signature Designer Tassels (Potli & Motifs)
Design Elements
- Fabric Motifs: Custom shapes (Leaves, Birds, Paisleys, Geometrics) embroidered on separate fabric and attached to the pallu.
- Potli Work: Small, embellished fabric bundles (potlis) hanging from the edge.
- Embellishments: Use of Zardosi, cut-beads, and stone chains.
Construction & Comfort
- Protective Backing: Soft fabric backing applied to the reverse of the embroidery to prevent rough zari or knots from scratching the skin.
- Reinforcement: Double-stitched attachment points to ensure heavier tassels do not tear the saree silk.
Bridal Cutwork & Heavy Border Embroidery
Craftsmanship
- Cutwork Edging: Scalloped (U-shape/V-shape) edges created by cutting the saree border and sealing it with heavy Zardosi or thread work.
- Maggam/Aari: Intricate hand embroidery done on a frame directly on the pallu, featuring sugar beads, stones, and french knots.
- Net Inserts: Option to add translucent net fabric within the cutwork patterns.
Technical Execution
- Weight Balancing: Embroidery density is calculated to ensure the pallu drapes gracefully without pulling to one side.
- Complete Finishing: Includes the necessary falls and zigzag preparation tailored to support the heavier border weight.
About Saree Finishing & Embellishment
Why Choose Us for Saree Finishing
I get it, saree shopping is fun but the after-work is a hassle. You end up running to three different places for blouse, falls, and those fancy tassels (kuchu). With me, ella ond kade sigodrinda (you get everything in one place), so your saree gets all its finishing and embellishment done - no more stress.
Handcrafted Kuchu & Embellishments
My specialty is creating custom tassel design and embroidered tassels that actually match your saree. You want something unique or have a Pinterest screenshot? I can replicate it. I use zardozi, beads, pearls, sequins - not just plain threads. Think paisleys, leaves, birds, scalloped edges, potli style, baby kuchu, or classic crochet kuchu work. I work with all sarees - Kanjivaram, Mysore Silk, Crepe, and more.
Matching, Detailing, and Comfort
I match tassels to your saree colour, blouse embroidery, or even use multiple colours for a coordinated look. For detailed borders and motifs, I focus on neat saree border finishing. Every piece gets protective backing so it won't snag your saree or poke your skin.
Full Saree Prep
You bring your saree, and I finish the rest - falls stitching, zigzag/pico, and all embellishments. True handwork takes time, but I promise you’ll get a saree ready to wear, finished with care. For me, it's all about making our hennmakalu (women) feel special - saree ready, no shortcuts.

My Story
Hey, Bhavya here from Attitude Designer Studio. Folks always ask, ‘Attitude alli enu special?’ (What’s special at Attitude?). Honestly, it started because I got tired of running around for saree stuff - tailor here, kuchu there, falls somewhere else. So I thought, why not do it all in one place? I love turning simple sarees into wow outfits, especially for moms and kids. Namma hennmakalu cheenagi kaanisbeku alva? (Our girls should look good, right?). Every piece is made with loads of creativity and heart.
