About From Vision to Reality: The Design Process

Architecture is not just about the final render; it is about the messy, beautiful reality of construction. Whether we are executing complex curvilinear formwork for a villa or integrating MEP services into exposed concrete, I am present on-site during critical phases like reinforcement binding. This hands-on approach ensures that the design you saw on the screen is exactly what you get when the dust settles.

Architecture is a conversation between an idea and the ground it stands on. When I take a project from concept to construction, it is not just about drafting plans; it is about managing the five elements—Prithvi, Vayu, Jal, Agni, and Akash. Without them, a building is just a shell.

My approach relies on 'Liquid Architecture'—creating curvilinear facades and heavy cantilevers that look light but demand immense structural precision. We coordinate services so that HVAC and electrical conduits are hidden within exposed concrete slabs, keeping the finish clean and honest.

A design fails when the execution does not match the intent. That is why my team and I prioritize periodic site visits, especially for specialized formwork and shuttering. We guide the construction to respect the site's unique orientation, ensuring we catch the sunrise or maximize natural airflow. It is a slow, thoughtful process, but it is the only way to ensure your 'sapnon ka ghar' (dream house) ages gracefully, with materials like stone and reclaimed wood telling their own story over time.

I am Arun Sharma, and for me, architecture is a living, breathing dialogue. I do not just build structures; I sculpt environments that let you breathe, using the five elements as my guide. If you want a space that feels grounded in nature and built to last, let us talk.
