When we decide to hand-paint or add textures to a jacket, we do not just consider the aesthetics. We treat the fabric with specific finishes, like silicone softeners for linen or proper canvas reinforcement for structure, so the art moves with you rather than stiffening the garment. Tell us the theme you have in mind, and we will figure out the right canvas for it.
The most rewarding part of my work is when a client brings an abstract idea, and we turn it into reality. My process starts with a conversation to understand the occasion and the story you want to tell. Once we settle on the concept, whether it is a hand-painted floral motif for a reception blazer or 3D appliqué for a minimalist linen jacket, I get involved in the sketching and execution.
Why the process matters
It is not just about the paint or the thread. If we are working on a blazer, I make sure the internal construction—the canvas, the felts—supports the design. For example, when we work with imported Japanese fabrics or premium linens, the finish needs to breathe. We use specific techniques to ensure the handwork does not weigh the fabric down or compromise the fit.
Turning ideas into art
I have hand-painted roses to symbolize romance on wedding outfits and created tonal 3D textures for celebrity stage looks. If you have an heirloom brooch or a specific color palette from your partner's saree that you want to match, bring it to the studio. We will use it as the anchor for the entire design. Every unique detail is a way to make sure that when you step out, the outfit feels like an extension of your personality, not just a rental or off-the-rack piece.
