Dressing your little ones for special days shouldn't mean compromising on comfort or craft. I create soft, custom-made traditional wear that feels as good as it looks.

A complete traditional set for a toddler. This custom 'Jubba' and 'kacche' is made from off-white silk with delicate gold hand embroidery, perfect for a little one's first big ceremony.

A close-up of the intricate zardosi and beadwork on the toddler's 'Jubba'. I use the same attention to detail on my children's wear as I do for all my clients.

This video shows the beautiful craftsmanship of the tiny 'Jubba' and 'kacche' set, highlighting the delicate embroidery and soft silk fabric.

About this collection

When I design for children, the priority is always the skin-feel of the fabric. I exclusively use soft silk blends and finish every garment with butter-soft internal lining to ensure the embroidery or Zardosi work never scratches or irritates their delicate skin.

Getting a toddler dressed for a traditional event like a naming ceremony or a family wedding can be a challenge, mainly because stiff fabrics are often uncomfortable for them. My approach to kids' wear is to blend the elegance of traditional Indian clothing with the practicality needed for an active child.

I design the 'Kacche' (dhoti) to be pre-pleated and stitched to size, which means no slipping or loose ends to worry about while they move. For the 'Jubba' (top), I carefully map out the embroidery placement so it sits away from high-friction areas around the neck and arms.

If you visit my studio in Vijayanagar, we can discuss fabric options together. I prefer using raw silk or soft silk blends because they hold the structure of the garment well while staying breathable. Whether you want a miniature version of a groom's outfit or a simple, elegant set for a puja, I ensure the fit is just right so your child can move, sit, and play freely without feeling restricted by their clothes.
