Mixed Media & 3D Art Workshops in South Delhi
Looking for art that jumps off the canvas? We are ditching flat drawings for messy, tactile, 3D fun, from clay sculptures to layered collages.
When creativity strikes, everything else takes a backseat! These beautiful mixed-media trees combine a painted background with 3D clay flowers and leaves.
Make the beach when you can't go to one! We created these amazing beach scenes using paint for the water, real sand and shells, and clay for the palm trees and sea creatures.
Life lately! We've been having so much fun making these 3D clay cat faces on a painted checkerboard background. It's a great project for combining painting and sculpture.
This cityscape collage took 3 hours of class time, but was it worth it? 100 percent! The kids created a fireworks display over the city using tiny strips of colored paper.
Welcoming Ganesha into the house with these amazing handmade idols. The kids did a fantastic job getting their hands messy with clay to create their own eco-friendly Ganesha.

About Mixed Media & 3D Creations
When we add clay or texture paste to a painting, it is not just about how it looks, but how it feels. Unlike standard drawing classes, these sessions are designed to help kids understand spatial awareness and composition by building up their work layer by layer, turning simple sketches into tactile stories they can actually touch.
In my studio, we believe that art is better when it breaks the boundaries of a flat surface. My Mixed Media and 3D Creations cluster is all about tactile exploration—giving kids the chance to work with air-dry clay, collage materials, and impasto textures to bring their imagination to life.
Why 3D Art Matters for Kids
Beyond just making things messy, these projects are secretly teaching complex skills.
- Spatial Intelligence: Planning a 3D scene, like a clay landscape or a paper collage city, forces a child to think about what goes in the background versus the foreground.
- Fine Motor Development: Manipulating clay, tearing paper for collages, and managing texture paste requires precise control, which helps with everything from handwriting to tool use.
- Problem Solving: What happens when a clay flower keeps falling off? We learn to troubleshoot, rebuild, and adjust—it is all part of the process.
Our Process
My classes are not about following a template where everyone creates the exact same thing. We take a concept—like 'Under the Sea' or 'Monsters Inc.'—and individual students decide how to represent it.
We regularly use:
- Clay Modeling: Perfect for building characters and sculptures.
- Collage & Assemblage: Using patterned paper, fabric, and recycled elements to create depth.
- Impasto Techniques: Using palette knives and 3D paste to make paintings stand out.
This is about giving your child the tools to explore. Whether it is building a miniature Ganesha idol or a textured cityscape, the goal is to build creative confidence through hands-on making.
