We don't just teach art here, we make a mess and call it a masterpiece! Our sessions use everyday textures like bubble wrap, salt, and sponges to help your child explore colors and shapes in a way that feels more like play than a structured lesson.
In our art and craft sessions, perfection is not the goal. Happy, engaged children are. We move away from standard 'color inside the lines' worksheets to offer a sensory-rich experience that keeps kids excited to come back.
Why Our Art Approach Works
- Sensory Exploration: By introducing unconventional tools like shaving foam, bubble wrap, and sponges, we teach textures and cause-and-effect in a way that paper and crayons simply cannot.
- Confidence Building: Whether a child is creating a butterfly out of sponge prints or building a 'Sea World' diorama, they are making decisions, solving small problems, and taking pride in something they built themselves. This is vital for their development.
- Social Connection: These are small group sessions of 6 to 12 children. It is a fantastic space for local children in Vivek Vihar to interact, share materials, and learn to collaborate while they create.
Practical Details for Parents
Our classes are designed for ages 2.5 to 8+ years. We provide all the materials, including poster colors, paper, and glue, so you do not have to worry about cleanup. Every child takes home their creations—from silhouette art to 3D paper crafts—giving them a tangible sense of accomplishment. We focus on fine motor skills and creative expression, ensuring every child feels like an artist by the end of the session.
Miles of Smiles
We are Sapna and Vidhi, two moms from Vivek Vihar who were tired of seeing kids stuck in front of screens. We started Miles of Smiles to bring back the fun in learning. We are in the room with the kids every single day, getting paint on our hands and helping them bring their little ideas to life.
