Let’s bring stories to life on paper. From sketching basic shapes to creating vibrant character-driven masterpieces, we keep it messy, real, and full of heart.
Back to basics! Sometimes, it's all about picking up a pencil and learning the fundamentals of sketching, like with this awesome lion drawing.
This line art elephant deserves its own post. The hard work and focus needed for a 6-year-old was punishing, but he completed it like a pro! I am a proud teacher today.
The perfect combo: art through books! We're turning stories into strokes, like this drawing inspired by the "Ella Diaries" series. Which book would you draw?
Look what you made me do... fall in love with this adorable Taylor Swift drawing! My little artist nailed the sparkle and the sass using pencil colors.
The life and choices of a 6-year-old artist in the making. Inspired by the "Isadora Moon" books, she asks, why are we full humans when we were supposed to be half fairies and half vampires?
A blend of seasons and ideas and artworks! These beautiful drawings of flowers and butterflies show a wonderful use of color and line work.
Why is drawing encouraged after a certain time at ArtWithAnuradha? Because after exploring with messy art, kids are ready for more tedious processes like drawing a rocket or a snowman.
Sticking our way to fun! Our first set of sticky stories are here to slay. The kids created scenes and then wrote their own stories to go with them.
Making all kinds of art and learning that no art is less than the other. From a painted reindeer to a rainbow collage, every creation is celebrated.
Some beauties to adorn your feed! From a textured sunflower painting to this intricate line art peacock, we explore all kinds of styles.
About Drawing, Coloring & Story Art
We don’t chase 'perfect' art here. Instead, we focus on helping your child build confidence through consistent practice—whether they’re sketching a lion or illustrating their favorite storybook character. It’s about teaching the fundamentals of color, line work, and composition in a way that feels like play, not a rigid school lesson.
Why Drawing Matters
Drawing is the foundation, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. At Art With Anuradha, we blend technical skills with pure imagination. For a 6-year-old, sketching a lion is about patience and focus, not just getting the lines right. We encourage kids to pick up pencils, crayons, and pastels to explore how color impacts mood and character.
What We Explore
- Story Art: Kids often bring books like 'Ella Diaries' or 'Isadora Moon' to class. We take those characters and reimagine them through their own eyes, fostering both narrative and artistic skills.
- Line Art & Texture: We dive into detailed line work, teaching kids how to add depth to their drawings. It's the perfect bridge between messy sensory play and more structured artistic processes.
- The 'Process First' Philosophy: You won't find us correcting a child's art to make it look 'better' for social media. If they draw a blue sun or a neon elephant, that’s their creative voice. We guide them on composition, color theory, and technique, but the final masterpiece is 100% theirs.
Where You Can Find Us
We run these sessions across South Delhi, including Sarvapriya Vihar and Friends Colony East, plus locations across the NCR. Whether you are looking for monthly skill-building classes or a one-off weekend workshop, our small batch sizes ensure your child gets the guidance they need to truly express themselves.
Art with Anuradha
I’m Anuradha, and I believe art should be a bit messy and a lot of heart. I’m a NIFTian who loves helping kids ditch the screen for a sketchbook. My goal is to see them beam with pride over what they've created, whether it's a simple line drawing or a complex story-based scene.
