Art Classes and Creative Workshops
I believe everyone has a story to tell through art..... Here is a glimpse into the creative workshops I host, from meditative Mandalas to vibrant folk paintings.
It warms my heart to hear such kind words. I believe art is for everyone, and it’s my greatest joy to guide students like her as they discover their own creativity through mindful arts like Mandala.
I was so proud of my student who created this beautiful Kalamkari peacock in one of my workshops. Seeing her hold the final, framed piece is what Art Voyage is all about.
This is the magic of Mandala art in action. Each line and dot is a moment of focus and calm. This video shows the satisfying process of filling in a design with vibrant colors.
Look at these wonderful coasters painted by my little artists during a Dussehra workshop. It’s so much fun to see kids explore traditional designs and create something they can use.
This is a classic Madhubani fish painting, a style known for its intricate patterns and symbolism. In my folk art classes, we learn the history and techniques to create pieces just like this.
This intricate Krishna doodle is a perfect example of how Mandala patterns can be used to create stunning and detailed portraits. It’s a beautiful fusion of spiritual art and meditative drawing.
Welcome to my studio. I’ve tried to create a bright, clean, and happy space where everyone feels comfortable to learn and let their creativity flow. This is where the art journey begins.
About Featured
You do not need any prior art background to join my sessions. I keep our batches small, usually around 8 people, so I can sit with you and guide you step-by-step through every single brushstroke. Everything—paints, canvases, and tools—is waiting for you at my studio in Kalena Agrahara, so you can just bring your curiosity.
At Art Voyage, I want you to feel that same rush of happiness when you finish a piece of art that I do. Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or returning to a childhood hobby, my goal is to make the process feel like a story we are writing together.
My studio on Bannerghatta Road is set up to be a quiet, joyful space where you can let your mind wander. We explore various techniques, including the focus required for Mandala art, which many of my students find acts as a form of meditation. We also dive into Indian folk art traditions like Kalamkari and Madhubani, where I teach you the specific history and motifs behind the style.
Everything is provided. You do not need to buy expensive supplies or worry about cleaning up. I have everything ready, from high-GSM paper and canvas boards to acrylic paints and fine liners. My workshops are designed for all ages—from 7-year-old kids to senior citizens—and because the batches are small, I have the time to help you find your personal style. If you are ever worried about making a mistake, do not be. We often find that some of our best artistic moments come from unexpected turns in the process.
