About Our Young Artists' Gallery
You don't need to worry about buying supplies for your child; I handle everything from pencils and oil pastels to drawing sheets. My small batches are capped at 8 students, so I can sit with every child to guide their pencil grip, shading techniques, and color choices..... it makes learning feel like a fun story rather than a rigid lesson.
Art is a wonderful way to build confidence, and I love seeing how quickly kids from 5 to 10 years old find their own rhythm. Whether your child is just starting with basic shapes or learning how to blend colors to make a scene look real, we go slow and steady.
What We Focus On
- Building Foundations: We start with proper pencil grip and simple line work, which helps children gain control and precision.
- Color Exploration: We use high-quality oil pastels and color pencils, teaching children about shading, blending, and staying within the lines while keeping their imagination wild and free.
- Story-based Learning: I teach drawing as a story. We don't just draw an animal; we draw where it lives, what it eats, and what it’s doing. This keeps the kids engaged and eager to finish their next piece.
