Painting divine figures is a different kind of process. Unlike individual portraits where anatomical accuracy is the main goal, devotional art is about capturing a feeling—the serenity of Ganesha or the divine connection between Radha and Krishna.

I work with a few different mediums for this:

• Oil on Canvas: My preferred choice for deities. It allows for rich, deep colors and the kind of texture that makes the art feel alive. If you are looking for a centerpiece for your mandir (prayer room) or living area, this is the best path.
• Watercolor: Good for smaller, vibrant pieces. I use this for flowy, ethereal-looking sketches where the focus is on movement and light rather than heavy detail.
• Charcoal & Graphite: These are for the minimalist look. They add a dramatic, timeless feel, perfect for a subtle spiritual touch in a modern home.
