A peek behind the canvas and the 85+ walls I have painted over the last decade. It has been a messy, magical, and rewarding process.

This picture is from 11 years ago, at my very first exhibition stall in Bangalore. I had no idea then that this passion would turn into a career of painting over 85 walls for clients like OnePlus and Wipro.

A look back at my very first mural at a small cafe. If I could tell this girl that she would go on to paint 84 more walls and work with brands like Harley Davidson, she wouldn't have believed it.

A look back at the past year. It was filled with so many firsts, from launching new products and growing my team to getting engaged and moving cities. I'm so grateful for this journey.

The reality of being on site: a mix of glitter, gold, dust, and a mask. It's not always glamorous, but it's always worth it.

More on-site reality. Gold leaf gets everywhere, including on my nails! But seeing a wall covered in that beautiful shimmer makes the mess worthwhile.

My kind of vibe. A messy paint palette, a cup of tea, and an idea waiting to happen. This is what my creative process looks like.

A simple reminder to myself and to you: do not let anything stop you from making art. Just make things.

I'm always trying new things. Here's my first attempt at creating a textured canvas using fabric. I love the wave-like effect it creates.

A close-up of the fabric texture on the canvas. It's amazing what you can create with simple materials like cloth and glue.

I learned this texture cloth art technique from a member of my team. This video shows the process of creating the piece from start to finish.

About My Journey as an Artist

People often think art is just about elegant brushes and clean palettes, but the reality is usually a mix of glitter, gold, dust, and wearing a mask on-site for hours. Whether it is a 67-foot office mural or a delicate leaf accent, I treat every project as a piece of my own growth—sometimes that means using a bit of jugaad to solve a tricky wall angle, but the end result is always a space that feels distinctly yours.
