Future Forward Concepts and Competition Designs
Step into our design laboratory where we push boundaries and reimagine the future of living and working. From competition-winning concepts to visionary urban developments, this is where we test the ideas that inform our built work.

An exhibition space within our Solina Silk Factory concept. We envisioned a flexible gallery where historic trusses and brick walls serve as a backdrop for contemporary cultural displays.
A lounge area in the Solina Silk Factory concept. The design preserves the building's industrial character while introducing modern furniture and large-scale art to create a dynamic public space.
Another view of the gallery space in the Solina Silk Factory proposal. The design plays with light from the original clerestory windows and new installations to create a dramatic and engaging atmosphere.
A semi-transparent curtain divides a workshop area in the Solina Silk Factory concept. This illustrates our idea for creating flexible, multi-use zones within the large, open-plan factory floor.
The SBR Earth and Sky project, which won the 'Times Business Award' for Best Luxury Project. This low-rise development celebrates the connection to nature with duplex apartments and double-height green balconies.
About Future Forward: Concepts & Competitions
Our competition entries often begin with the same site-specific conversations as our residential projects. We use these conceptual phases to tackle complex urban constraints—like navigating dense city footprints or repurposing aging industrial structures—long before we break ground. It is our way of sharpening our design tools and rigorously testing solutions before we apply them to your specific space.
Our Design Laboratory
This collection highlights the 'dialogue' in our design process. While our built projects often have to balance client needs with site limitations, our conceptual designs and competition entries allow us to explore purely architectural questions. We approach these projects with the same commitment to nature and functionality as we do our homes and offices.
Adaptive Reuse and Urban Vision
Our award-winning concept for the Solina Silk Factory in Srinagar demonstrates our approach to adaptive reuse. We focused on maintaining the industrial character of the historic structure while introducing flexible, modern cultural spaces. This project required us to work with existing brick walls and timber trusses, turning heritage constraints into opportunities for engagement.
Similarly, the Urban Ladder office tower in Hyderabad explores the future of the modern workplace. We moved away from conventional glass boxes to design a structure that prioritizes natural light, green balconies, and social amphitheaters. By placing the building core on the west side, we freed up the floor plates for better daylighting, a technique we now apply to our commercial interior projects.
Sustainable Residential Concepts
Projects like Nandi Souls showcase our thinking on weekend homes and collective living. We addressed the challenge of high-density housing by using vertical stacking to maximize views and natural ventilation, ensuring residents remain connected to the outdoors despite living in a multi-story building.
Every project here reflects our core values: sustainable urban planning, respect for local context, and a deep, ongoing conversation between architecture and nature. Whether we are planning a master development or reimagining a single workspace, we rely on these lessons to create spaces that work better for the people using them.
