About Additional Projects & Moments
Styling is not just about red carpet gowns or screen costumes. Sometimes it is about the grit behind a reality show like 'Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt' where I worked with athletes, or the hours spent scouring international markets for that one specific accessory. It is the behind-the-scenes reality that makes the final look click.
My process often starts long before the cameras roll or the lights turn on. When I am tasked with styling for a project like an MMA reality show, the approach changes completely from my commercial or film work. It requires understanding movement, durability, and the raw energy of the talent. I have to source materials that withstand intense physical activity while still looking sharp on high-definition screens.
I take sourcing trips seriously, whether I am in Dubai or visiting markets across India. Finding the right piece can take hours, but it is necessary to avoid generic looks. I look for textures, heritage pieces, or modern tactical gear that adds authenticity to a character.
Every project adds to my bank of inspiration. Whether I am prepping for a commercial shoot or analyzing a script for a new character arc, I pull from these diverse experiences to keep my work fresh. It helps me offer solutions that are practical yet distinct, ensuring that no two projects feel the same.
