Styling is about telling a story. For this pre-wedding shoot, we used golden light and a field of flowers to create a romantic, natural canvas that reflected the couple's love. This is an example of personal styling for milestone moments.

The Intersection of Commercial Work and Mentorship
My work as a stylist is a constant dialogue between the theory I teach and the reality of the set. With over 12 years in the industry and having guided more than 5,000 students, I find that my most impactful work happens when these two worlds collide.
Why Process Matters
When I approach a project, I treat it as a 'stylefile'. Whether it is a jewellery campaign or a music video, the focus is on continuity and impact. I often tell my students at SOFT Pune that technical knowledge of colour theory and fabric draping is only half the battle. The other half is communication—understanding what the client needs and translating that into a visual language that works on camera.
Personalised Styling for Milestone Moments
Beyond commercials, I take on select personal styling projects. This includes pre-wedding shoots where we move away from standard poses to capture something authentic. My goal is to make sure your outfit serves as your armour, giving you the confidence to own the moment.
My Approach to Style
- Conceptualisation: We start with the mood board. What is the story? What is the setting? We define the colour palette before a single garment is touched.
- Practicality: I am a firm believer in mixing high-fashion with wearable pieces. A crisp white shirt paired with the right pearls can be just as powerful as a couture gown if the styling is right.
- Collaboration: I credit every member of the team, from the photographer to the interns, because that is where the magic happens.
