Wedding Ceremony & Rituals Photography
The wedding ceremony is the heartbeat of your big day. Whether it's the quiet anticipation of the Varmala or the sacred promises of the Pheras, I'm here to document the raw, beautiful emotions as they unfold.
This film captures it all: the groom's anticipation, the bride's emotional entry with her dad, and the beautiful, joy-filled Varmala.
The Varmala exchange, a pivotal moment where two lives join. I love the shower of petals and the loving gaze between the couple.
A beautiful sequence of the Varmala ceremony against the stunning backdrop of the Udaipur mountains, even as it started to rain.
The groom's reaction says it all! Capturing that first look as the bride walks towards him is one of the most magical moments.
The groom's smile as he sees his bride for the first time, framed by her red veil. A classic, timeless wedding photograph.
A playful and triumphant moment during the Varmala, as the bride garlands the groom under a shower of rain and petals.
A happy moment during a Maharashtrian wedding ceremony, with the couple surrounded by cheering family.
The bride's adorable, candid reactions as the groom performs a ritual during the Pheras. It's these tiny expressions I look for.
A quiet, candid moment of the couple walking hand-in-hand during their Pheras, sharing a smile.
The couple taking their sacred vows around the fire, with petals showering down on them. A truly magical Phera moment.
About The Big Moments: Ceremonies & Rituals
You’ll often hear people say the ceremony is just a series of rituals, but I disagree. When you are standing at the mandap or altar, I’m not just looking for the wide shots of the decor. I am waiting for the moment your partner squeezes your hand, the tear in your parent's eye, or the look you share when you think no one is watching. That is the real magic I want to save for you.
My approach to ceremonies is simple. I blend into the background so you can actually be present with each other. For 13 years, I have documented everything from grand Maharashtrian weddings in Mumbai to intimate destination ceremonies in the mountains of Udaipur.
I treat every ritual with respect, but I don't believe in stiff poses or interrupting the flow. If the rain starts during your Pheras, I’m not going to rush you inside, I’m going to capture that memory because it’s part of your story. I pay attention to the details that matter: the way a red veil frames a smile, the intensity of a vow, and the collective joy of your family surrounding you.
Whether it’s a Gujarati, Sindhi, Punjabi, or Christian wedding, I know the rhythm of the ceremonies. My goal is to deliver images that feel as vibrant and emotional as the day itself, giving you those core memories that you will want to look back on forever. ✨
