Meet Pooja: The Heart Behind the Prints
Getting to know the hands behind the craft is the first step in creating something personal. See how my passion for sustainable block printing shapes every project.
I feel most energized when I am helping others connect with their creativity. This was me at an event, feeling joyful and full of purpose. Bringing hands on art to life's biggest celebrations is what I love to do.
This is my mission in a nutshell: purpose with a pop of color. I founded Amoha Prints to create joyful, hands on moments where people can connect, create, and carry home something with real meaning.
I am proud to be a one stop shop for all your block printing needs. From printing on your fabrics and customizing blocks to providing DIY kits and online classes, I handle everything in house to guarantee quality and bring your creative dreams to life.
About Meet Pooja: The Heart Behind the Prints
What sets my studio in Doddanekkundi apart is that everything happens in-house. From the moment I commission a master artisan to carve a custom teak wood block to the final steam-ironing of your fabric, I personally oversee the quality. This isn't just about printing meters of fabric; it’s about knowing the exact source of your dyes and the care taken with every single press.
My Philosophy: Art as an Experience
Hand block printing isn't just a service for me; it is a living history. When you choose handcrafted work, you are embracing the reality of the craft. That slight smudge or perfectly imperfect alignment isn't a mistake—it is the signature of human hands. Whether we are collaborating on a new fashion collection on Chanderi silk or printing sustainable gift bags for a corporate event, the goal remains the same: authenticity.
The Technical Process
I stick to traditional methods. We use seasoned Sagwan (teak) wood blocks, hand-chipped by artisans with over three decades of expertise. There is no laser cutting or mass-produced plastic molds here. For colours, we prioritize azo-free, eco-friendly pigments that are skin-safe and sustainable.
What to Expect
Whether you are a brand looking for small-batch textile production or an individual wanting a custom piece, you get end-to-end management. We handle everything from design translation to final finishing, ensuring your vision translates clearly from a digital vector to a tangible fabric print. If you appreciate slow, deliberate work that tells a story, we will get along perfectly.
