What Goes Into a Custom Portrait Design

When you book a storytelling package, we aren't just picking patterns from a book. We look for the moments that define your relationship:

• The Varmala or Doli: Capturing the specific ritual or pose from your wedding ceremony.
• Personal Symbols: Incorporating elements like your pet, travel flags, or initials hidden within the larger design.
• Cultural Motifs: Blending figurative art with traditional Maharashtrian, Gujarati, or other regional architecture like temple domes and palaces.

The Application Process

This is a slow, methodical process. Unlike guest mehendi, which is optimized for speed, these portraits demand absolute focus. I work with a 0.3mm tip to ensure the facial features don't blur when the stain develops. We usually spend the first part of our session confirming the placement and scale of the figures.

Planning for Your Big Day

This allows us time to discuss the design details and ensure my schedule is clear for the extended session time this work requires. I am based in Virar West, but I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and beyond for destination weddings.
