About Elaborate Bridal Mehendi (Hands & Arms)
I prioritize two things: long-lasting, deep dark stains and designs that stay balanced from your fingertips to your elbows. I use 100% natural, triple-sifted henna paste, so we will talk about after-care the moment I start. Keeping the paste on for at least 8 hours is non-negotiable if you want that rich, deep color for your wedding photos.
My Approach to Bridal Mehendi
When I design for a bride, I look at the canvas as a whole. My elaborate bridal mehendi typically covers the hands and arms up to the elbows. Whether you prefer the classic, dense traditional Indian Jaal patterns or something more modern, the goal is always the same: symmetry and depth.
Customizing Your Design
I offer two main ways to approach your bridal henna:
-
Traditional & Motif-Based: If you love the classics, I incorporate majestic elephants, graceful peacocks, lotuses, and intricate palace architecture. These designs are timeless and create a balanced look that works beautifully with heavy bridal bangles and jewelry.
-
Portrait & Storytelling: For brides who want their mehendi to say something specific, I can draft your unique story. This includes couple portraits, wedding date integrations, or symbols of your hobbies and travel memories. These require more time to draft, but they make your mehendi truly yours.
The 'Alpa' Standard
I have been doing this for 12 years, and I have learned that the quality of the henna matters just as much as the skill. I prepare my own 100% organic henna paste using essential oils. Because it is natural, you can expect a rich, dark stain if you follow the simple after-care tips I share. I do not rush the process; a proper bridal session can take between 3.5 to 8 hours depending on how detailed we go.
I am based in Virar, Mumbai, but I travel across India for weddings. If you have a larger group for the sangeet or need mehendi for your family, I bring my trained team so everyone gets the same quality of service.
