About Mehendi Classes
Why I Teach Mehendi
Mehendi is my happy place. Teaching it to others? That's next level. For me, every class feels like a mini festival - full of joy, new beginnings, and a bit of san aanandacha (festival of happiness). I want you to feel that too when you pick up the cone.
What My Course Covers
I run a certified 'Basic to Bridal' mehendi course. It's open for everyone, even if you’ve never tried mehendi before. We start simple - how to hold the cone, basic strokes - and slowly get into all those classic Indian mehendi patterns, like peacocks and florals. By the end, you’ll be working on proper bridal designs, which is honestly a different high.
How We Learn
Everything is hands-on. First, we sketch and practice on paper - lot of step-by-step mehendi tutorials. Once you’re comfy, you’ll practice on your own hand and even on your batchmates' hands. Mistakes happen, but that's how you get better.
Class Details
- Classes are only in-person, at my studio in Virar West, Mumbai
- No online option because real-time feedback matters
- Course runs for 30-60 days depending on the group
- New batches all year, even during summer holidays
My favourite part? Seeing my students start with squiggly lines and finish with professional bridal mehendi. If you want that too, you’re in the right place.

My Story
Hi, I’m Alpa. Been doing mehendi for 12 years—yup, it’s not just work for me, it’s kinda my heartbeat. Hanumant sada sahayate (Lord Hanuman always helps), that’s my faith and this art is my blessing. Mostly, I’m all about bridal mehendi, but honestly, any festival or even that pahli barish (first rain) vibe, I’m there. I teach too, and seeing my students nail it? Pure joy. Mehendi isn’t just tradition—it’s our happiness.
