Travel Photography and Behind-the-Lens Insights
I do not just click photos, I hunt for the asli feel (real vibe) of a place. From the chaos of Delhi streets to the quiet corners of Rajasthan, here is how I find the story in every frame.
A cinematic reel capturing a peaceful sunset walk on a beach in Chennai. Sometimes the simplest moments are the most beautiful.
A video showing my process of capturing the 'Blood Moon' during a total lunar eclipse with my Fujifilm camera and telephoto lens.
A weathered, abandoned building in a rural village in Rajasthan, telling a story of time and decay.
A rustic, weathered door in a sand-covered courtyard in Rajasthan. I am drawn to these simple, textured frames.
A small village shop in Rajasthan, its contents framed by the doorway, with my shadow visible in the foreground.
A young boy runs to catch his school bus in a dusty Rajasthani village.
A camel peeks over a wall in Rajasthan, a classic and charming sight from my travels in the state.
A graphic celebrating my work as a travel and street photographer and an OPPO creator.
A behind-the-scenes shot of me, the person behind the camera, always searching for the perfect frame.

About On The Road: Travel & Behind The Lens
Whether it is a heritage walk in Old Delhi or a multi-day trip across Rajasthan, I focus on candid, unscripted moments rather than staged poses. My process involves scouting the right light and waiting for the frame to come to me, using Fujifilm primes for that distinct, film-like texture that makes a photograph feel real.
Travel photography is about patience. It is about understanding that the best frame is not the one you force, but the one you wait for. When I am shooting on the road, I am looking for the interplay of light and shadow, the grit of a textured wall, or the quiet focus of someone in a bustling market. My goal is to capture the atmosphere of a place so that when you look at the image later, you remember the sounds and the mood, not just how it looked.
My Technical Approach
I keep my kit light but powerful. I rely on Fujifilm X-Series cameras paired with fast prime lenses. The f/1.4 or f/2 apertures allow me to shoot in low light without needing bulky artificial setups, which keeps the experience natural and unobtrusive for the subjects. If I am capturing a vast landscape or an event from above, I use a licensed drone to provide that scale, ensuring the aerial perspective feels part of the same visual narrative as the ground-level street shots.
Planning Your Shoot
Whether you need documentary-style coverage for a travel project or a dedicated photo walk, my work is always about consistency. The files I deliver go through a manual culling process where I select only the most impactful frames. My editing style uses film-simulation grading to maintain a timeless, organic look. If you are looking for staged, glossy magazine shots, that is not my style. If you want a visual record of a journey, a festival, or a specific day that feels raw and honest, that is exactly what I do.
Popular Locations for Shoots
I am based in Delhi NCR but frequently travel across India for assignments. From the lanes of Old Delhi and the architecture of Humayun's Tomb to the landscapes of Ladakh and the heritage villages of Rajasthan, I am comfortable adapting to different environments and local conditions.
