I don't set up scenes or ask you to pose. I just wait for the light and the life to collide. Whether it is the spice-scented chaos of Old Delhi or the quiet, misty mornings at Yamuna Ghat, my goal is to capture the real, breathing story behind every frame.

A laborer carries a heavy sack through the crowded lanes of Khari Baoli spice market. This black and white documentary shot highlights the grit and hard work that defines daily life here.

Another worker navigates a narrow, dark alley in the spice market, his determination etched on his face. The single light source creates a powerful, dramatic effect.

A young man sifts through a large pile of dried red chilies, the sunlight catching the texture of the spices.

A cycle rickshaw puller pedals through a dark lane in Old Delhi, a slice of light illuminating his daily toil.

A man walks through a dark alley in Old Delhi, the beam of light creating a dramatic silhouette. This shot, captured on an OPPO phone, shows that the story is more important than the gear.

A beautiful sunrise at Yamuna Ghat, with two seagulls perfectly framed against the sun. I used a telephoto lens to compress the scene and capture this serene moment.

A minimalist composition showing birds flying in a vertical line above a boat at Yamuna Ghat during a hazy morning.

A silhouette of a man watching the sunrise over the Yamuna river, surrounded by flying birds. A moment of peace and reflection.

A silhouette of a traveler with a backpack looking out over the water at Yamuna Ghat, capturing the essence of exploration.

A speedboat creates a wake on the calm waters of the Yamuna, with birds taking flight in its path.

About The Soul of the Street: Unstaged Moments

I don't use large lighting setups or ask you to pose. During our walk, I shoot exclusively with prime lenses on my Fujifilm gear to keep things fast and unobtrusive. Whether we are navigating the shadows of Khari Baoli or tracking the movement of birds at Yamuna Ghat, the goal is to capture the atmosphere as it happens, without interrupting the flow of the street.
