I believe law should be for everyone, not just lawyers. Through my interactive workshops, I break down complex legal concepts—from POSH compliance to women’s safety—into simple, actionable steps that empower you to take charge.

Namaskar. I believe in making law simple and accessible for everyone. In this session with university students, I am breaking down the nuances of legal rights in a language they understand, because knowledge is the first step to empowerment.

It is crucial that our law enforcement officers are thoroughly trained on laws like the POSH and Domestic Violence Acts. Here, I am leading a detailed training session for women police officers at the Commissioner of Police's office in Gurugram, ensuring they are equipped to handle sensitive cases effectively.

A key part of my corporate workshops is explaining the practical details of the POSH Act. This image captures a moment where I am detailing the composition and responsibilities of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), a critical component for any compliant organization.

For young women entering the legal profession, my advice is simple: take your education seriously, find a good mentor, and be confident. This profession is beautiful and powerful; respect it, and you will find your path.

As an advocate, my work is grounded in the principles of justice for all. This portrait was taken at my chamber, where I prepare to fight for the rights of my clients and work on creating safer spaces through legal awareness.

I was deeply honored to be recognized as one of the 'Indian Women Achievers of the Year 2024'. This acknowledgment fuels my commitment to providing free legal assistance and empowering women through knowledge of their rights.

To truly understand the POSH Act, we must know its history. In this corporate training, I engage the audience by asking about the landmark case that led to this law, making the session interactive and connecting the law to real-life struggles and victories.

Campaigns like 'Child Marriage Free Bharat' are very close to my heart. Here, I am standing with fellow advocates and activists, taking a pledge to eradicate child marriage, a practice that cuts short the dreams and rights of countless children.

When the media asks about my work, I always emphasize one message: women must be empowered to make their own decisions and raise their voice against injustice. In this interview, I discuss the importance of legal awareness programs in building a truly empowered society.

My journey from being a teacher to an advocate was driven by a single purpose: to demystify the law for women. Through my Reet Foundation and these short legal tip videos, I aim to bring crucial knowledge about laws like the Domestic Violence Act directly to those who need it most.

About Featured

When I step into a room to conduct a session, my goal is never just to recite sections of the IPC. Whether I am training an Internal Complaints Committee in a corporate office or speaking to university students about cyber safety, I use real-life case studies and bilingual explanations. This ensures everyone—from HR heads to young women—leaves knowing exactly what their rights are and how to protect them.

Why Legal Awareness Matters

Many people, even those highly educated, face legal exploitation simply because they do not understand the basics of the law. My workshops are designed to bridge that gap. I move away from the 'boring lecture' format, inviting participants to ask questions—jitna poochna hai, pooch lo (ask as much as you want).

Corporate POSH & IC Training

Workplace safety is not just about having a policy on paper; it is about implementation. My POSH Act training goes deep into the 'how-to.' I train Internal Complaints Committees on the principles of natural justice, report writing, and the crucial difference between conciliation and inquiry. We cover:

  • Definition of unwelcome acts and intent versus impact.
  • Step-by-step procedures for the Internal Complaints Committee (IC).
  • Non-retaliation policies and the importance of confidentiality.

Institutional Guest Lectures

For schools and colleges, I tailor sessions to address age-appropriate concerns. We tackle topics like cyber safety (dealing with online bullying and sextortion), the POCSO Act (Good Touch/Bad Touch awareness), and anti-ragging regulations. These sessions are intended to build confidence, teaching students that awareness is the best form of protection.

My Approach

My sessions are always bilingual, switching between English and Hindi to ensure no participant feels alienated by legal terminology. I believe that when you learn about these laws today, you are not just preparing for a hypothetical future—you are gaining the confidence to navigate life securely, every single day.

I didn't start my career in law; I spent years as a teacher first. That shift changed how I practice—I prioritize making sure you actually understand your rights, rather than just acting as a representative. If you need a partner who speaks plain language and fights with grit, let's connect.
