Traditional Sweet and Healthy Preserves
Looking for a sweet treat that feels like home? These traditional preserves and jaggery blocks are handmade in small batches using recipes passed down from my grandmother.
Introducing my Aamle Ka Murabba, a nutritious preserve made from Indian gooseberries. This video shows the final product, glistening in its syrup. Each batch takes a week to prepare, allowing the amla to soften and absorb the sweetness perfectly.
A close-up of my pure organic jaggery, broken into rustic chunks. This is nature's sweetener, rich in minerals and perfect for the winter season. I source the best quality jaggery to ensure you get all its health benefits without any additives.
About Sweet & Healthy Preserves
Making my Aamle ka Murabba is not something I can rush. It takes a full week of soaking and sun-cooking to get that texture just right, so the berries are soft, translucent, and perfectly sweet without any preservatives. If you are looking for a healthy winter snack that skips the synthetic junk, this slow-cooked process is why my murabba tastes exactly like the one from my dadi’s kitchen.
I believe that food should be medicine, which is why my collection of sweet and healthy preserves focuses on natural ingredients. Whether you want the classic Aamle ka Murabba with sugar syrup or a version sweetened with organic jaggery, you are getting the health benefits of gooseberry without any chemicals.
My jaggery blocks are another labor of love. I source chemical-free jaggery and hand-break it into chunks, infusing it with premium dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, and cashews. It is a warm, energy-boosting snack that is perfect for colder months.
Why choose homemade preserves?
- No Preservatives: I avoid synthetic colors and fake sweeteners entirely.
- Traditional Methods: Recipes are sourced directly from my family archives to ensure authentic flavour profiles.
- Small Batches: Because I make everything in small quantities, you get a level of freshness that commercial brands simply cannot match.
Note: Since my Murabba goes through a traditional week-long soaking process, it is best to place your order a few days in advance to ensure you receive a batch that has been allowed to settle and absorb all the sweetness properly.
