Is Yoga Right for You? (Let's Bust Some Myths)
You do not need to be flexible to start yoga. If you have ever hesitated to join a class because you feel out of shape or think it is just for some people, we are here to clear that up.
This video addresses the common questions people have before starting yoga, from time commitment to flexibility concerns. We show that no matter your question, our studio has a solution with expert trainers to guide you at every stage of your journey.
This short video debunks two of the biggest myths about yoga. We show that you don't need to be flexible to start and that many yoga styles are dynamic and energetic, proving there is a practice for everyone.
This clear, fact-based chart directly tackles common myths about yoga. We clarify that flexibility is a result, not a requirement, and that even short, consistent practice can lead to noticeable changes in strength and well-being.
This graphic reinforces our core message: yoga is for everyone. We bust the myths that yoga is only for flexible people or for weight loss. The image of a diverse group in meditation shows that our practice is for all ages and fitness levels.
About Is Yoga Right for You? (Let's Bust Some Myths)
At Aarav Yoga, our group batches are strictly capped at 12 students. This allows our instructors to observe your movement, provide hands-on posture corrections, and modify poses if you are dealing with specific aches or injuries. You get the personalized guidance you won't find in larger, crowded studios.
Many people walk into our studio at Alpha I or Jaypee Greens with the misconception that they need to be flexible before they can sign up. In reality, flexibility is a result of consistent practice, not a prerequisite for entry. Our classes are built on the principle of Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam, which emphasizes skill and balance over performing advanced contortions.
Common Myths vs. Our Reality
- I am not flexible enough: Most of our students started stiff. We use props like straps, blocks, and bolsters to bridge the gap until your body opens up naturally.
- Yoga is too slow: We offer Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Power Yoga. If you want sweat and movement, our dynamic flows will challenge your endurance just as much as a gym workout.
- I do not have enough time: We offer flexible 60-minute sessions. Even two or three days a week can significantly improve your posture, reduce back pain, and lower stress levels.
Finding the Right Fit for Your Body
Whether you are looking for prenatal support, gentle yoga for seniors, or therapeutic sessions for chronic issues like PCOS or arthritis, we offer a tailored approach. Our therapeutic program starts with a full movement assessment and medical history review to create a routine that works for your specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all script.
If you are in Greater Noida, you can choose between our studio sessions or private home training where we come to you. You are not just a member in a class; you are part of a community that values progress over perfection.
