- My setlist is flexible. Expect Bollywood hits, a bit of Sufi magic, those 90s throwbacks, and some English pop in the mix.
- Got requests? Shout them out. Live means anything can happen.
How I Play
- Solo: Just me and my guitar - perfect for an intimate wedding music experience or a cosy house session.
- Duo/Trio: Add a percussionist or keyboard for a thicker sound, great for a Sufi night singer guitarist vibe.
- Full Band: For that Bollywood live music band energy at big Sangeet or corporate events.
Where I’ve Played
- Weddings (Sangeet, cocktails, haldi), product launches, private party live performances, even opened for Indian Ocean once.
- I travel for gigs, always do a sound check, and yes, sometimes I’ll mess up lyrics (jitna bhi koshish kar lu, lyrics to bhoolunga hi - no matter how hard I try, I’ll forget some lyrics). That’s live music for you - not perfect, but always real.

My Story
I’m Aamir Mehdi, and honestly, if you see me, I’ll probably have a guitar in my hand. Music’s just part of my DNA – doesn’t matter if I’m at a party or waiting for mutton to cook at home, I’ll be jamming. I’m old-school, still scribbling lyrics in my notebook, and yeah, I forget them sometimes, but that’s half the fun. My favorite gigs? Playing for a couple’s first dance at weddings, especially with a cozy acoustic retro Bollywood set. Give me a mountain view and coffee, I’m sorted.
