It is not just about the final pot—it is about the transformation. Whether you are painting a simple wildflower pattern on a mug or sculpting a vase, watching your idea turn into a real object you can hold is the best part. Most guests come in thinking they are not artistic, but they leave with something they are genuinely proud to display.
At Pastel Mystery, we see all kinds of magic happen on our rooftop in Malad. Some folks are naturals on the wheel, while others find their zone during the painting phase—where you get to take a pre-fired piece or your own creation and add your personal touch.
How your creation comes to life
- The Process: You start with a lump of clay and, with our guidance, shape it on the wheel or by hand. Do not worry about perfection; it is the quirks and fingerprints that make it yours.
- The Painting: This is the therapeutic part. Whether you want to doodle flowers, paint strawberries, or just experiment with colors, you are free to make it your own. We have all the tools, brushes, and underglazes ready to go.
- The Firing: Since we use real clay, your pieces need time in the kiln to harden properly. It takes about two to three weeks for the firing process, but the wait makes holding your finished, food-safe mug or vase that much sweeter.
Whether you are looking for a romantic date idea or just some me-time to get your hands dirty, our studio is the spot.
