At Pastel Mystery, we see all kinds of magic happen on our rooftop in Malad. Some folks are naturals on the wheel, while others find their zone during the painting phase—where you get to take a pre-fired piece or your own creation and add your personal touch.
How your creation comes to life
- The Process: You start with a lump of clay and, with our guidance, shape it on the wheel or by hand. Do not worry about perfection; it is the quirks and fingerprints that make it yours.
- The Painting: This is the therapeutic part. Whether you want to doodle flowers, paint strawberries, or just experiment with colors, you are free to make it your own. We have all the tools, brushes, and underglazes ready to go.
- The Firing: Since we use real clay, your pieces need time in the kiln to harden properly. It takes about two to three weeks for the firing process, but the wait makes holding your finished, food-safe mug or vase that much sweeter.
