Give your cherished sarees a second life. We transform vintage or unused fabric into modern dresses, lehengas, and Anarkalis, right at your doorstep.

This video shows our process of upcycling old sarees. We take the original fabric and borders, then cut and stitch them with our in-house masters to create beautiful new designs.

Get your customized saree designed and stitched with us. We can also work with your existing sarees to create something new and exciting.

We can restyle or perfectly stitch any traditional saree, like this beautiful pink silk saree, to ensure it fits you perfectly.

Have a chiffon saree you love but never wear? We can transform it into a new outfit or alter it for a modern fit.

Georgette sarees are versatile. We can help you redesign an old one into a new dress or Anarkali, or simply create a new, perfectly fitting blouse for it.

Banarasi sarees are timeless treasures. We can help you restore or redesign an old Banarasi into a stunning lehenga or gown.

We can work with delicate fabrics like this Bandhani saree, transforming it into a new creation while preserving its traditional beauty.

About Upcycled Creations: From Saree to Statement Piece

Transforming an old saree is not just about cutting fabric, it is about preserving the memories tied to the garment. When we visit your home for a design consultation, we first assess the fabric's condition, weight, and fall. Whether it involves turning a heavy Banarasi into a lehenga or a delicate chiffon into a modern dress, we ensure the original embroidery or borders are repurposed thoughtfully, rather than just chopped up, so the new garment retains its soul.

How We Repurpose Your Sarees

Many of us have sarees in our closets that hold sentimental value but rarely get worn. Instead of letting them gather dust, we help you turn them into something practical and stylish. We specialize in working with a range of materials, including:

  • Silk and Banarasi: These fabrics are perfect for creating structured lehengas or long Anarkalis. We add heavy-duty fusing and cancan to give them the right volume and shape.
  • Chiffon and Georgette: These lighter fabrics are ideal for fluid, modern dresses or fusion sets. We focus on getting the fall and drape right so the fabric moves beautifully.
  • Bandhani and Cotton: Great for casual, everyday wear like kurta sets or simple dresses.

The Process

Since we come to you, the process is straightforward. We handle everything from the initial design discussion to measurements and final delivery. We bring our own scissors and measuring tapes to your living room. We generally complete these upcycling projects within 7 days, giving you enough time to plan your next event.

Can You Replicate a Design?

Yes. If you have seen an outfit online or in a magazine, show us the picture. We will analyze the construction and let you know if your existing saree fabric has enough volume and the right texture to achieve that specific look.

Important Considerations

When we repurpose sarees, we consider the limitations of the fabric. Old sarees sometimes have weak spots or thinning areas, especially near the pleats. During our home visit, we will examine the fabric closely and advise on what designs are viable to ensure the final outfit is durable and comfortable to wear.
