Fitness isn't about crash diets or shortcuts. It's about finding a rhythm that works for your life, your kitchen, and your schedule.

A sneak peek into my day. From my own morning workouts and online workshops to driving off for some fun, it's all about balancing hard work with joy and self-care.

This is what it feels like when you take your New Year's resolution seriously and get to flaunt that figure. A healthy lifestyle is the ultimate confidence booster.

The best kind of problem to have: when you lose so many inches from getting fit that all your old clothes are loose. Time to go shopping or visit the tailor!

About My Life, My Philosophy

You won't find me selling crash diets for the shaadi season or magic weight-loss pills. My method is simple: three proper meals, consistent movement, and focusing on ghar ka khana (home-cooked food). It’s about being fit at 50 and feeling sexy in your own skin, not starving yourself before an event. If you are ready to trade 'quick fixes' for a lifestyle that actually lasts, let’s talk.

I started Dance to Fitness (DtF) two decades ago because I was tired of seeing women put themselves last. My philosophy is straightforward: stop looking for shortcuts. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, recovering post-natally, or just trying to stay fit in your 40s and 50s, you don't need expensive, imported ingredients. You need dal, sabzi, roti, and a plan that respects your busy schedule.

My approach is built on three pillars:

  1. Real Food: We don't do keto, paleo, or starvation. We work with the food you already have in your kitchen.
  2. Consistent Movement: Whether it's aerobics, HIIT, or simple daily walking, the goal is to make it a habit you actually enjoy, not a chore you dread.
  3. Community Support: You aren't just joining a class; you're joining a tribe of 'paglis' (crazy ones) who lift each other up.

I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and I’m still the one driving to studios, doing online workshops, and managing my own home. If I can do it while juggling family and work, you can too. Let’s get you strong, energetic, and confident—without losing your mind or your joy.

I'm Sonia, and after 20 years, I know that real fitness is just about showing up for yourself. I live exactly what I preach—balancing family, my own workouts, and running a community of women who choose health over fads.
