My Pack: The Heart and Soul of Zoella Dog Training
My training philosophy isn't born from a textbook, but from the daily life I share with my own pack. Meet the dogs who turned my world upside down and taught me how to truly listen.
This is my pack, Zoey and Bella. Spending time with them, exploring new places, and simply being together is my biggest goal. They are the reason I am so passionate about helping other families find this same joy.
This picture captures their personalities perfectly. Zoey, the goofy queen, and Bella, the playful angel. Together, they are Zoella, which means "complete life," and they are the inspiration behind my training center.
My beautiful Bella, always ready for a game of tug. Play is such an important part of building a relationship and releasing energy in a positive way.
My sweet Zoey, the dog that started it all. Her challenges with hyperactivity and anxiety as a puppy are what set me on the path to becoming a professional trainer.
This is a precious memory of my first dog, Chuppi, with a tiny Zoey. Chuppi was the gentle soul who showed me the profound love a dog can bring into your life and gave me the confidence to get Zoey.
A quiet moment with Chuppi. He was the first dog whose leash I ever held and the one who opened my heart to the world of dogs. He will always be my first and hold a special place in my heart.
A playful moment between Chuppi and a young Zoey. He was her first friend and taught her so much about being a gentle dog. These early, positive interactions are so important for puppies.
Chuppi and Zoey resting together. Seeing them so peaceful was a constant reminder of the beautiful, harmonious relationships we can foster between our dogs.
Another sweet photo of Chuppi and Zoey. His calm and gentle nature was the perfect balance for Zoey's puppy energy.
Chuppi and Zoey as a puppy. His memory is a guiding force in my work, reminding me of the gentle, trusting bond we all seek with our dogs.
About My Pack: The Inspiration Behind It All
My approach to dog training is built on a simple truth: if you don't understand what your dog is feeling, you can't help them change. When I was struggling with Zoey's reactivity and anxiety, I wasn't looking for a robot that could sit on command. I was looking for a way to help her feel safe. That is exactly what I bring to your home—a focus on the 'why' behind the behavior, so you can stop managing the chaos and start building a real partnership.
People often ask me why I'm so patient with 'difficult' dogs. The answer is simple: I’ve been there. Before I was a certified professional, I was just a stressed-out, overwhelmed dog mom to Zoey. During lockdown, she wasn't just 'wild'—she was reactive, sensitive, and had me in tears more times than I care to admit. That messy, beautiful journey turned into a lifelong obsession with understanding dog psychology.
'Zoella'—a blend of Zoey and Bella—is more than just a brand name; it’s a commitment to a complete, balanced life for your dog. While Zoey taught me the intensity of reactivity and the need for calm, my German Shepherd, Bella, showed me the joy of a playful partner who just 'gets it.' And then there was Chuppi, my first heart-dog, who taught me that even the most spirited puppy needs a gentle, patient mentor. His memory is a guiding force in every session I lead.
When we work together, you aren't getting a drill sergeant. You're getting someone who knows the sting of a chewed-up shoe and the frustration of a walk gone wrong. My methods—whether we are working on separation anxiety, leash reactivity, or just teaching a solid 'place' command—are rooted in that same mix of science and lived empathy. We don't suppress behavior; we understand the root cause and guide your dog toward a better choice, one paw at a time.
