Is your dog destroying the house or pacing around the living room? You might not need more exercise, but more mental challenges!

Stuck indoors on a rainy day? I share four great activities to keep your dog engaged. These include DIY mental enrichment puzzles, playing tug, and practicing training commands to burn off energy.

'Find it' games are a fantastic way to engage your dog's natural instinct to sniff and search. I show you how to start simple and increase the difficulty, turning it into a fun activity that builds focus and confidence.

A comfortable dog is a happy dog! Bella is enjoying her orthopedic bed, which is great for her joints. Providing a designated, comfortable resting spot is an important part of a dog's well-being.

This is Bella, my German Shepherd, relaxing on her orthopedic bed. A dedicated resting place helps dogs feel secure and is an essential part of creating a structured and calming home environment.

About this collection

I often start by teaching owners the simple towel game. You place a few treats inside a clean towel and let your dog use their nose to unroll it, which provides a calm, productive outlet for that restless energy instead of destructive chewing.

Mental enrichment is about shifting your dog's focus. If your pup is prone to constant barking or scratching at furniture, they are likely just under-stimulated. Instead of relying on intense physical walks, which can sometimes over-excite a dog, we use scent work and puzzle-solving to tire them out mentally. In a city like Bangalore, where space can be limited, these indoor activities are a lifesaver. You do not need a large backyard to raise a calm, confident dog. We can work on DIY puzzles using household items like cardboard boxes, egg cartons, or hidden treat containers. These challenges help your pet think for themselves, turning them into a thoughtful companion rather than a bored one. We focus on building your dog's confidence through small, successful wins. Whether it is teaching them to sniff out hidden toys or mastering simple indoor obstacle courses, the goal is always a stronger bond. By engaging their natural instincts, you transform your pet into a happy raaja beta who is content to relax once the mental work is done.

I am Chaitra, and I know exactly how chaotic a bored dog can make your home. My own girls, Zoey and Bella, taught me that giving them a purpose—like solving a puzzle—is the fastest way to turn a wild dog into a chill companion.
