Theo isn't just my dog; he's the reason I started this journey. Seeing the world through his eyes taught me that training is about building a partnership, not just commands.

Theo is an aquaholic just like me. Finding activities that both you and your dog love is key to building a strong, joyful relationship.

About Adventures with Theo: My GSD Inspiration

Living with a German Shepherd like Theo taught me that a well-behaved dog is built on trust, not control. If you have a GSD or a high-energy dog, you know the struggle of keeping them calm and focused. I do not just train your dog to sit or stay; I show you how to manage their energy and reactivity through positive reinforcement so you can actually enjoy your time together.

When I got Theo, I realized pretty quickly that my relationship with him was going to be my biggest teacher. German Shepherds are brilliant, but they are also sensitive and prone to big feelings. Trying to use force or punishment just creates a wall between you and your dog.

My training method is about breaking down those walls. We focus on the 'why' behind the behavior. Is your dog pulling on the leash because they are excited, or because they are anxious? We identify the trigger, whether it is another dog, a loud noise, or a sudden change in environment, and we work on a solution that builds their confidence instead of suppressing their reaction.

I stick to the 90/10 rule: 90 percent of the work happens with you. I am here to guide you on body language, command delivery, and consistent habits. We use rewards, not just for obedience but for neutrality and calmness. Whether we are working in your home or doing a group session at Cubbon Park, the goal is the same: helping you become the best teammate for your dog. You do not need to be a 'boss' to your dog; you just need to be a leader they can trust.

I'm Pranati, and if you are a fellow GSD parent, you know the drill: pure chaos and pure love. Theo is my rowdy boi who turned me into the trainer I am today, showing me that the best training happens when we stop controlling and start connecting.
