When you order a dress here, I am the one checking the fabric, pinning the Angrakha on the dummy, and packing your parcel. Because I make everything in small batches in my Seawoods studio, I can adjust the fit for sizes up to 6XL. If you are worried about the drape or need a specific sleeve length, just message me—we can tweak the pattern before I cut the fabric.
How We Make It
My studio is not a factory line. It is just me, my fabric, and my love for Indian handlooms. When I source pure cotton or Ikat, I look for textures that feel like home. Making clothes is a slow process for me, but it is one I enjoy because it lets me ensure the quality is right.
Transparency in Every Stitch
- Fabric Inspection: Before a single cut is made, I check the weave. Ikat is a delicate craft, and I ensure it is structured yet soft against your skin.
- The Fitting: Whether it is a wrapped Angrakha or a tiered cotton dress, I test the fit on a dummy to ensure the silhouette sits correctly. I want you to feel comfortable, not restricted.
- Small Batch Packing: Every order is packed by hand. If you see me packing in our videos, that is the exact care that goes into your parcel.
Customisation for Every Body
I believe clothing should adapt to you, not the other way around. Whether you are an XS or a 6XL, the pattern is adjusted. We also offer a saree upcycling service where we take your old, cherished sarees and convert them into new dresses. We inspect the vintage fabric for strength, then redesign it into a piece that keeps your story alive. If you have a special request for a sleeve change or a longer hem, just ask. Let’s make something that fits you perfectly.
