Keep your kids busy and creative this summer with our 4-week camp in West Punjabi Bagh. We rotate themes weekly, covering everything from gold leaf painting to 3D clay modeling, all in a cool, air-conditioned space.

Week 1 was all about texture and form. We explored elegant gold leaf painting, learned the art of macrame, crafted wire flowers, and decorated our own flower vases.

In Week 2, we traveled through art, creating beautiful Pichwai paintings and crafting 3D cardboard aquariums. We even made our own file folders to keep our creations safe.

Week 3 focused on decorative arts. The kids loved making mesmerizing marble paintings, designing personalized clay name plates, and crafting beautiful paper bags.

Our final week was a blast with abstract textures, the intricate art of quilling, and building cardboard craft volcanoes and dinosaurs. It was a week of pure imagination.

About Summer Camp 2024: Weekly Themes

I know the summer heat can be exhausting, which is why our batches are held in the evening starting at 4 PM in our fully air-conditioned West Punjabi Bagh studio. Every registration includes all necessary materials—from gold leaf sheets to high-GSM paper—so you don't have to scramble for supplies or deal with the messy cleanup at home.

At YoungPlum, I focus on the joy of making rather than perfection. Our 2024 Summer Camp is structured into four distinct, weekly modules designed for children aged 6 to 14. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or has never held a brush, they will find something here to spark their imagination.

Weekly Theme Breakdown

  • Week 1 (Texture & Form): We start by exploring elegant gold leaf painting, the intricate craft of macrame, wire flower creation, and vase decoration.
  • Week 2 (Culture & Storytelling): We dive into traditional Pichwai painting techniques and build 3D cardboard aquariums with custom-made wooden elements.
  • Week 3 (Decorative Arts): This week is all about functional art, including mesmerizing marble painting, designing personalized clay name plates, and paper bag crafting.
  • Week 4 (Imagination & Structure): Our final week gets technical with abstract texture work, the patience-building art of quilling, and building cardboard volcanoes and dinosaurs.

Each session runs Monday to Friday for 60 minutes. Because we keep our cohorts small—between 6 to 10 children—I can provide individual guidance on blending, layering, and molding. My goal is for every student to leave on Friday with 2 to 3 shelf-ready projects, feeling proud of what they created with their own hands. If you are looking for a deeper commitment, our 4-week season pass covers all modules and includes a certificate of completion.

I am the founder of YoungPlum, and my mission is to make art feel easy and fun for kids aged 6-14. I don't care if the art is 'perfect'; I just want kids to get messy, try new things, and feel good about what they create in our studio.
