About Drawing, Pastels, and Mixed Media Fun
In these sessions, we focus on tactile exploration. You will see kids turning a simple newspaper into a vibrant canvas with oil pastels or creating fluffy textures on cupcake drawings using cotton balls and collage materials. It is not about drawing perfectly; it is about learning how to layer different materials to create something unique.
We believe that art is a journey of self-expression. In our Drawing, Pastels, and Mixed Media workshops, we encourage children to step away from the pressure of making perfect art and instead embrace the fun of the process. We use a variety of mediums—from oil pastels and watercolors to clay, pompoms, and recycled paper—to help kids develop fine motor skills and creative thinking. Each class is tailored to introduce core concepts like line work, color theory, and pattern making in a way that feels like play. For example, our Zentangle patterns teach patience and focus, while our mixed media projects show kids that texture can come from anywhere, even the morning newspaper. Our studio in West Punjabi Bagh provides a safe, air-conditioned space where mistakes are just a part of the creative process. Whether it is a student creating an owl with watercolor or a toucan on a newsprint canvas, the goal is always the same: building confidence, making friends, and having a blast with colors. Join our small-batch sessions where every little artist gets the individual attention they deserve.
YoungPlum
I am the person behind YoungPlum, where I create a space for kids to get messy and find their unique creative voice. I love seeing the pride on a child's face when they turn a piece of newspaper or a lump of clay into their own personal masterpiece.
