About Power Yoga: Strength & Flexibility
We don't just demonstrate poses and watch from the side. Our instructors are right there on the floor with you, using props like foam yoga blocks and wall bars to help you nail the posture safely. If you’re a beginner, you won't feel lost—we’ll make sure your alignment is spot on so you actually build strength, not just stretch.
How We Do Yoga
At Yog Mantra, we believe yoga should be about more than just flexibility. Our Power Yoga sessions are designed to make you sweat, burn calories, and build functional strength you can actually use in daily life.
We skip the fluff. No video screens or automated routines here. Every session is led by a human instructor who knows your name, corrects your form, and keeps the energy high. We work in a climate-controlled basement studio with wooden laminate flooring, which is much kinder on your joints than hard concrete surfaces.

- Absolute Beginners: If you've never touched a yoga mat before, don't worry. We have dedicated guidance to help you find your balance without feeling overwhelmed.
- Mums: Looking for some quiet 'me-time'? Our off-peak morning batches are specifically designed to offer a supportive, female-only environment.
- The Community Crowd: If you hate the isolation of a standard gym, you’ll fit right in here. We cheer for each other, and the energy in the room keeps you coming back.
What to Expect in Class
Our routines rotate, so you never get bored. We focus heavily on core strength and hip openers using traditional asanas like the Tree Pose (Vrikshasana) and Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana). We use the wall bars to assist with deep stretches, allowing you to reach further than you would on your own. Come as you are—wear something comfortable, bring a water bottle, and get ready to work hard.
